The Springfield XDS 9mm black is the first and only single-stack XD® from Springfield Armory®. In addition to the inherently slim nature of the design, excellent contours in the frame which fit snugly around you hand, the frame is a short sub-compact style, and the barrel is just 3.3 inches. The XD-S® Single Stack seems to disappear when you carry it, and pretty soon you’ll forget it’s even there.

The XD-S® Single Stack consistently astonishes and delights shooters on the range. Its comfortable ergonomics – complete with two interchangeable back straps – allow it to work without punishing your hands. The fiber optic front sight and white-dot rear sight align quickly and provide a clear sight picture for accurate shooting. The trigger on the XD-S® Single Stack feels more like it belongs on a target pistol than a carry piece. The XD-S® allows for the versatility of a easy firing firearm with the ability to conceal it with great easy.  The firearm comes with both 7 and 8 round magazines allowing the owner the ability for different feels from their firearm.  The 7 round magazine fits flush with the bottom of the magazine well giving you a discreet carry firearm while the 8 round magazine comes with a finger extension which allows for an almost full-size firearm feeling out of a sub-compact firearm. This firearm also comes in a hard plastic case allowing for easy storage without the hassle of the standard cardboard box.
